[I can then go] back to ChatGPT and say, \u2018please add a sense of urgency and stress the confidential nature of this transaction\u2019 \u2013and again, instantly, it\u2019s perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n<cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.insurancebusinessmag.com\/us\/news\/cyber\/ais-phishing-influence--were-already-seeing-it-460033.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AI&#8217;s phishing influence \u2013 &#8216;we&#8217;re already seeing it&#8217;<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>These are two good and specific examples of the trend we analyzed in our recent research &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/ostermanresearch.com\/portfolio\/orwp_0358-ai-email-security\/\" data-type=\"jetpack-portfolio\" data-id=\"4153\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Role of AI in Email Security<\/a> &#8211; where survey respondents indicated they were seeing an increase in AI being leveraged in the email attacks against their organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The implication is that the characteristics we&#8217;ve trained people to rely on for identifying email scams are now fewer &#8211; such as poor grammar, cultural missteps, and spelling mistakes.
